EnterTech learners are required to demonstrate proficiency in sixth-grade level math and reading. A variety of assessment instruments were reviewed for use in prerequisite assessment, such as the Adult Basic Learning Examination, the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System, the Texas Academic Achievement System (TAAS), and Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Sponsoring agencies entering learners in EnterTech training should use these or similar assessment tools to assure this minimum level of competency.
In addition, learners need to express interest in the program and demonstrate motivation in completing the program and continuing their education and/or gaining employment.
EnterTech technical staff coordinates and supports each class's systems administrator to deliver trouble-free computer training.

Three to ten classes of 10 learners each, led by a trained instructor, is the ideal setting for a pilot program. Sponsoring agencies or businesses can use this time to become familiar with EnterTech's technology, content, and assessment tools.
Performance and follow-up progress reporting is collected and reviewed. Instructors contribute to EnterTech's bulletin board system and are interviewed by sponsoring agencies as well as EnterTech's staff. Businesses and schools assess how EnterTech can be integrated into further training and study programs.
Funding is secured, classroom lab facilities are booked and configured, sponsoring agencies and businesses include EnterTech training as part of their service efforts, and 10-50 training sessions of 10-15 learners each are implemented at scheduled intervals. Review and refinement becomes part of each concluded training session. EnterTech maintains a quality assurance and consulting position as full deployment occurs.
